COVID Vaccine Clarification Update:

We have received some questions around the Vaccine Protocols. As stated on the website. On Oct 4th, Players 13 and up will have to provide proof of 1 Vaccination to participate in Sports as per HNS. This will satisfy Tryouts.

However, Players 13 and up will have until November 9th to provide proof of FULL (2 doses) Vaccination in order to continue to play. (Into the Hockey Season)

If proof of full vaccination cannot be provided by then. The participant will not be able to continue participating.

This direction is per the HNS Vaccination Policy.

If there are any questions about this, please contact Tim at riskmanagement@metrowestforce.com

Safety Rep Information Package

Firstly, I’d like to say thanks to all who have volunteered to help us in this year’s Try Outs. Without volunteers, this would not be possible. Luckily, it turns out this year won’t be as cumbersome for the safety reps.

I will start with the consistent regulation across the board, and then I will break the rest down per division.

1.     Effective Oct 4th, every person involved in running and facilitating the session will have to have proof of vaccination verified. MWF will have a list of volunteers, staff and players. You will not need to generate a list. No COVID screening will have to take place. HOWEVER, if people are symptomatic they are to be refused.

2.    U11 Safety Reps  - As the players are too young to receive the vaccination, no action outside of 1 is required.

3.    U13 Safety Reps – 12 year olds have until Dec 31st to be vaccinated under the Rebound Plan. No action outside of 1 is required.

4.    U15 Safety Reps – In addition to 1. Starting from Oct 4th going forward, Players will have to provide proof of at least ONE vaccination. If they do not provide proof, they do not enter unless you are advised by Risk Management there is an exception in place.

5.    U 18 Safety Reps - In addition to 1. Starting from Oct 4th going forward, Players will have to provide proof of at least ONE vaccination. If they do not provide proof, they do not enter unless you are advised by Risk Management there is an exception in place.

SAFETY NOTE: We are not asking you to confront anyone. Advise them of the restriction and verbally advise them that they are not permitted to enter. If persistence happens past this notify facility staff or if a MWF Board Member is present, advise them. We will not ask you to put yourself in an unwanted position.

Any questions, please contact Tim at riskmanagement@metrowestforce.com

TRYOUT UPDATES

Hello MWF Members; as tryouts are quickly approaching, we want to send a few updates.
The Metro West Force Hockey Association wants the entire tryout process to be a positive experience for everyone involved. It can be a stressful time for players and families so please take a moment and familiarize yourself with the information by visiting:Tryout Process | Metro West Force Female Hockey Club as we hope it will answer most of your questions.
TRYOUT JERSEY UPDATE:
Players WILL KEEP their jerseys until the end of the tryout process. Not returning these will result in a $50 charge that must be paid before the player is named to a team and will result in the player’s score not being counted for the session. This equipment is shared across multiple sessions and is required to be in the possession of the tryout coordinators when not in use during the session.
More details will be communicated regarding the tryout jersey collection. If you have any questions, please reach out to Matt Pelrine at equipment@metrowestforce.com
PARENT VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED!
Please sign up as soon as possible if you are available to help as a dressing room rep or COVID screener during tryouts, your support is VERY much appreciated!
